Engineering
Medical Scientific, Inc. has a staff of engineering professionals
with years of experience in electrosurgical, RF generator, and electrosurgical
instrument design and development utilizing the latest in computer-aided
design including Solidworks, Autocad and Microcap. In addition to
our in-house capabilities, we have a team of consultants available
to provide specialized skills in design and manufacturing, allowing
us to meet any project requirements.
Development
Medical Scientific, Inc.'s research and development activities are
performed by an engineering staff with over 30 years of experience
in the design and development of a variety of medical and electrosurgical
instruments and devices.
Medical Scientific, Inc. has access to a number of surgical research
facilities which allows for testing the safety and efficacy of designs
and prototypes.
Industrial Design
Medical Scientific, Inc. has an affiliate Industrial Design group
that specializes in the design of medical, biomedical, laboratory
and hospital products. The group can work with your marketing people
to create designs that integrate a product into an existing line,
or establish a completely new "signature" appearance for your product.
The group also provides our customers with specialized help in the
areas of Human Factors and Product Interface.
Prototyping
Medical Scientific, Inc. has the facilities and resources to provide
customers with quick turnaround prototypes for evaluation. With an
in-house machine shop, research and development laboratory and the
latest in test equipment, MSI is able to supply customers with working
models in a cost-effective timely manner.
